Objective

In this lightweight solitaire game you are trying to stack number cards into groups of four, with the help of Jacks to reach the intended table configuration.

Setup

Starting table state 5 columns of number cards with the Jacks in hand

As with any solitaire, you are moving cards around to turn the initial chaos into order. There are three types of cards in this game, each with its own rule for movement.

Number cards

Both the 2 could be moved onto the stack of 22 or the stack onto the 2. Neither could be moved to the 3.

Pillows

The 3 placed onto the stack of 3s completes a pillow

One of the four cards becomes the pillow, the rest is out of the game.

Jacks

Ending

If you reach the following configuration you win the game:

All Jacks tucked in, ready for dreams of cards and Queens.

Sleep Harder!

If you wish to raise the difficulty of the game, you can forbid moving Jacks onto columns with other Jacks, even if there is a pillow between them.

Note, listening to calm music while putting the Jacks to sleep is reported to make reaching the goal easier, it might even improve your own sleep as well!
